Alex joined Plaster in January 2010, moving from London where she worked on events, PR and communications for a small management consultancy after completing her English Lit degree. Alex’s copywriting and press relations experience is already working well on behalf of our clients.

which living person do you most admire and why?
My mum – she rocks.

what is your most embarrassing moment?
There are FAR too many to count...although one particular favourite was slipping over in a muddy puddle in front of the boy I fancied while trying to make a "cool" exit...i was wearing white jeans, which is an offence in itself.

what is your guiltiest pleasure?
Used to be smoking...now I’ve quit its just standing REALLY close to other smokers and re-living the good times...

how do you relax?
Bath, book, Sauvignon Blanc.

do you have any hidden talents?
I can pick stuff up with my toes, they are creepily long!

where did you grow up?
Johannesburg, South Africa.

if you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
So many places to see – but next stop will be Argentina I think.

if you could bring something extinct back to life what would you choose?
Old school letter writing...emails never have the same effect!

if someone gave you a million pounds how would you spend it?
I would go on a world tour of the best restaurants ever, starting with the Fat Duck, then Alain Ducasse in Monaco, El Bulli in Spain...the list goes on.

what is your favourite song/band/style of music?
My taste is quite often mocked by friends – I’ve seen Celine Dion live twice and my next concert is Bon Jovi in June...don’t laugh!
