ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE: CULTURE
Location: Bristol HQ based (Hybrid optional for 2 days at home)
Type: Full-time, Entry-Level
Salary: £24,000-£25,000 DOE + Perks + Progression
THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and energetic go-getter to join as an Account Executive on Plaster’s Culture Team. This is a hands-on, high-energy role for someone bursting with enthusiasm, plugged into what’s happening in Bristol and beyond and ready to dive headfirst into the worlds of culture, venues, events and creative brands.
This is a launchpad role for a social-first thinker who lives on and offline, understands how culture moves and knows what makes content land. From writing sharp copy and creating scroll-stopping social content to getting stuck in at shoots, launches and live events, you’ll play a key role in bringing campaigns to life for some of the most exciting cultural clients around.
The culture team has a vibrant portfolio including Love Saves the Day, Bristol Harbour Festival, Wake the Tiger, Shoemakers Museum, Bristol Beacon and Cabot Circus. This role will work across a selection of accounts, evolving throughout the year alongside the team’s Account Managers and Associate Director.
Fast-paced, collaborative and creatively charged, this is an agency role for someone who is hungry to learn, contribute ideas confidently and make their mark.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Writing press releases, blogs and digital content and proactively pitching stories to journalists to secure coverage
Coordinating media interviews, meetings and press opportunities, and maintaining press lists and feature trackers
Managing media coverage, cuttings and monthly reporting in collaboration with Account Managers
Finding and managing influencers for campaigns across the portfolio - relationship building and maintaining is crucial to ensure strong ROI when working with influencers both organically and in a paid capacity
Attending client meetings, supporting strategic discussions and actioning plans and follow ups
Identifying PR, feature and social opportunities aligned with client objectives
Planning and managing social media calendars, with responsibility for day-to-day channel activity
Creating and managing digital ads for our clients across Meta and Google etc.
Working with videography and photography teams to concept and capture photography at events and repurposing assets for media and social use
Briefing and liaising with designers to deliver and adapt creative assets across campaigns
Contributing ideas in brainstorms and creative sessions for new and existing clients
Supporting client marketing activity at exhibitions, launches and promotional events
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A digital native with a passion for live events, media, content and creativity
A flexible person, happy to work weekends and evenings to attend events and festivals spending time with your clients, the media and stakeholders
Strong writing skills with confidence adapting tone across platforms and clients
Passion for PR, journalism and what makes a good story. Ability to spot and create a newsworthy moment
Eye for detail and pride in precision, especially in campaign admin
Basic photography and video skills are a big plus
Experience with paid digital - specifically across Meta and Google is preferred
Team player with a positive attitude and bags of initiative
Hungry to learn, up for a challenge, and not afraid to get your hands dirty
Able to drive is preferred (we do get out and about!)
