SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER: TECH

Location: Bristol HQ based (Hybrid optional for 2 days at home)
Type: Full-time, permanent
Reports to: Associate Director
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Perks + Progression

THE ROLE

Plaster is on the hunt for a strategically sharp, relationship orientated, creatively driven Senior Account Manager to lead the charge across some of the agency’s most exciting B2B client accounts, from AV disruptors and IT innovators to headline-grabbing experience creators.

You’ll be the linchpin across projects for major names like LED Studio, SiliconCore, ZetaDisplay and Project Audio Visual, helping bring their stories to life through award-winning PR, compelling content and campaigns that make noise in the right places. You’ll also work in close collaboration with the Associate Director on our attractions and events portfolio, and other tech accounts including Vision and TD SYNNEX Maverick, providing strategic oversight and content leadership that elevates every touchpoint.

We’re looking for someone who blends precision with personality, balancing deep sector knowledge with fast-paced delivery, and who sees every client relationship as an opportunity to push creative and commercial boundaries.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Own and lead your portfolio of key client accounts alongside Associate Directors as their senior point of contact, taking responsibility for delivery, performance and client satisfaction

  • Develop, implement and lead integrated, results-driven strategies that align with clients’ business objectives and support agency growth

  • Translate strategic thinking into clear, inspiring and commercially sound briefs for our studio team and freelancers

  • Take the lead on award entry writing, press releases, thought leadership articles, blogs and AEO crafted content that cuts through

  • Develop and deliver integrated PR, content and communications strategies that align with client goals, from global product launches to positioning pieces

  • Oversee campaign delivery from ideation to execution, managing timelines, budgets, resources and results with confidence

  • Collaborate with our design and content teams to shape social media content, video storytelling, photography briefs and brand collateral

  • Stay close to the detail: edit and approve copy, guide designers, sharpen messaging and ensure everything is on-brief and on-brand

  • Lead the creation of campaign reports, insights and evaluations, making data meaningful and actionable

  • Build relationships with key media and industry influencers, securing meaningful coverage and content opportunities

  • Stay commercially aware, track budgets, scope project extensions, and spot upsell potential

  • Champion the use of emerging tools, AI and platforms that could enhance campaign delivery, performance and impact

  • Inspire and mentor junior team members, maintaining quality control across every account touchpoint

  • Be present — on site, on shoots, at events, exhibitions and activations (both UK and abroad)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years’ experience in a PR, digital or integrated agency, with clear B2B focus

  • Comfortable leading on tech, AV, IT or built environment sectors, and happy to nerd out on product specs when needed

  • Excellent writing skills — able to write and edit press releases, blogs, LinkedIn posts, strategy decks and awards entries to a high standard

  • Confident managing multiple stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams, while keeping the wheels turning

  • Strategic thinker who knows how to turn insight into action and big ideas into tangible results

  • Highly organised, proactive and able to spin multiple plates without dropping a single one

  • Passionate about the power of content to build reputation and drive sales for clients and always curious about what’s next

  • A natural collaborator who can lead with warmth, clarity and conviction
